Moria Gate Arch in the Kahurangi National Park is one of a series of limestone tunnels formed by the tea-coloured Oparara River, which runs through the cave. Moria Gate Arch is 19m high and 43m wide and the ceiling is covered with stalactites and hanging roots. Given the remote location and difficult access to the Moria, it is rare to sight a photographer, but sometimes you get lucky and find a pair of them... in your photo.
